World Big Dog Walk · 1 September 2020
Thanks for your support with my World Big Dog Walk Challenge! Pets are part of the family. Our four-legged friends give unconditional love and are sometimes a person's only companion. They don't deserve to suffer through economic and social hardship. They can't help themselves. But we can with your help.
Over the month of September the supporters of PDSA are hoping to walk around the world together with their dogs to raise much needed funds for animal charities. Skye, my 8 year old Saluki, and I are hoping to walk a minimum of 60 miles together over the month with any funds raised being donated to the PDSA.
PDSA is the UKs leading vet charity. Every year, the dedicated teams at our 48 Pet Hospitals work tirelessly to provide 2.7 million veterinary treatments including 440,000 preventative treatments. This helps over 470,000 much-loved pets and brings peace of mind to 300,000 owners.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic PDSA are facing into a national crisis so they are urging dog owners from across the UK to help us raise vital funds and take part in the World Big Dog Walk.
