Story

This years UCH Cancer Fund annual cycle is being organised and supported by one of our longer term supporters and an inspiring person who also happens to be a cancer patient here at UCLH.

He received successful prostate cancer treatment 3 years ago and since then Roger Mackenzie has arranged a cycle for a group of his friends in order to raise money for the UCH Cancer Fund to date he has helped to raise £30,000.

So in order to support him and his ambition both Zoe and I are going to do all we can and take part in the extremely tough challenge.

The challenge is unique and involves leading a team of Doctors, staff and recovering patients (all from theUCLH), over some of the most iconic and isolated Pyrenean mountain passes.

During the weekend we will scale over 6000m of climbing and cover 250km. Whilst
completing the ride will be hard enough, we want to provide support and
encouragement to all those riders taking part to ensure they all complete an
extremely tough challenge!
