We support young refugees & asylum seekers to realise their rights and potential

Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running my first half marathon on 27th Sept to raise money for the Refugee Youth Project - a charity co-founded by my good friend Roz Evans in 2004. Since then they have established three projects supporting young refugees in Lebanon, Nepal and London and have recently started training volunteers to run workshops on refugee issues in secondary schools.

They are a volunteer-led charity, almost entirely run by a committed team of trustees. So they do not have high administrative costs and so far this year over 95% of money raised has been spent directly on different projects. The work they have done to date has been really successful and your donations will go a long way in supporting some of the most vulnerable refugee children in their overseas projects, which are usually harder to fund.

I will be running the half marathon with Roz and other friends to raise funds to continue supporting young refugees in London, Lebanon and Nepal. Thank you for your support it's really appreciated!
