Unfortunately due to an injury 5 weeks prior to the event, and an added complexity of train strikes, I am having to withdraw from the Paris marathon.

I’ve spoken to the majority of sponsors so far who are content in the knowledge I am stupid enough to try again that I am keeping the page going with the hope of the Jersey marathon in October - or if I heal quicker and find a fun one sooner! 

Below is my initial goal and reasons why! Fingers crossed now for the sensation to come back in my foot.

I have decided to run the Paris Marathon. Those of you who know me well know I like to keep busy and to do this I set myself goals. This one is potentially my greatest challenge today as at present, I am running this alone (although still working on two people)., which means a lot of mind over matter stuff for hopefully no more than 5 hours!

The reason why I have chosen this charity is after the help and assistance they have offered my family recently and it's a lessor known (or lessor fund raised) charity in Jersey but their work is as important so if you were able to donate I know that it will be greatly appreciated!
