Story
When Alimatu (shown in the picture above) was a child, she had to drop out of school and work on her family's farm. As she grew up, she had no access to tools and practices that could help her grow enough on her remote, small maize farm to make a living. She was trapped in poverty. But she is what we call a "waymaker," determined to make a difference for her family despite these huge challenges. "I don't want my children to go through what I have suffered by not being educated," she says. Will you join me in supporting people like Alimatu and giving her the loan, training, and support she needs to break the cycle of poverty in her family forever?
