Hi all! My name is Lauren Bennett. I am honored to be able to represent the ALS Association in the 2018 Los Angeles Marathon. The ALS Association Golden West Chapter supports people living with ALS and their loved ones through services and education in 31 Counties throughout California and the state of Hawaii. We leave no stone unturned in search for the cure of this progressive neurodegenerative disease. This foundation provides individuals with ALS tools and equipment so that they are able to live normal lives just like you and I. I will be running in honor of my cousin Dan Burns who passed away from ALS.  Dan’s wife Sarah stated that the ALS Association was so generous to their family and truly made a difference in Dan’s life. She knows first hand how much a small donation can benefit families of individuals with ALS. Dan was a marathon runner himself and I know that he will be right beside me during the race. The Burns family and I would really appreciate if you could make a small donation to the ALS Association.
