Thank you for taking the time to visit our just giving page.
We are supporting Alabaré taking a stand against homeless veterans by bedding down for the ‘Big Sleep’ for one night (24th March 2023) at the iconic London riverside UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London in a single act of compassion to help save lives.
Sleeping out at The Old Royal Naval College is a once-in-a-lifetime, never been done before event that will change the lives of homeless and vulnerable veterans needing our care.
Although this has never been done before at the College, Alabaré was the first to take the BIG Sleep to the Tower of London, so they know what they are doing! (Which Mark and Suzanne completed in October 2021).
What they can't affect is the weather and they have previously run the event at -4 so dig deep!
Today, Alabarés work with homeless and vulnerable veterans, echoes that of The Old Royal Naval College and a shared desire to see homeless ex-Armed Forces personnel supported in their lives outside of the military. Alabaré welcomes veterans from all over the UK and provides supported accommodation, along with a bespoke package of training, education and skills, so a veteran can move forward with their lives. Alabaré is the largest provider of Homes for Veterans outside of London. All the funds needed for this programme must be fundraised.
We are grateful for any donation to this worthwhile cause, help us in supporting this amazing charity.
