Story
Hi everyone! On 27th April 2024 I will be swimming 5K (200 lengths) to raise money for Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie.
We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, but I have been particularly inspired to do this swim by my cousin Jim, who’s been a huge part of my life growing up. He’s recently been diagnosed with cancer again after 23 years. Considering everything he’s been through, he’s doing great and has stayed so positive throughout, which really motivates me to get up every morning and train for this swim. I’d also like to remember my grandfather who I lost to cancer when I was very young.
Any support you can give to these great charities (below is some more information) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much! Lauren xx
