The Great Rugby Cycle 2021 will cover over 1000 miles in an anti-clockwise direction around Ireland in eleven days. The peloton will be joined along the route by rugby legends, sporting stars and celebrities, raising funds for MN5DF.

Story

The Inaugural Great Rugby Cycle 2019 covered 1133 miles in March 2019 from John O'Groats to Lands End in support of the My Name5 Doddie Foundation. As a warm-up to the 2020 event, some of the group who took part in the John O'Groats challenge, cycled the length of Ireland from Mizen Head to Malin Head (370 miles) in 36 hours. Sadly, the 2020 event was postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown therefore we are pleased to announce that we will now be doing The Great Rugby Cycle 2021 from the 1st - 10th July!  The ride will cover over 1000 miles in an anti-clockwise direction around Ireland in eleven days, taking in some of the finest scenery Ireland has to offer. The peloton will be joined along the route by rugby legends, sporting stars and celebrities from TV and Film to raise awareness and funds for the My Name5 Doddie Foundation. Please give generously for this great cause.
