Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On June 27th, some friends and I will be cycling 10k across the New Forest to raise money for the Rosebud Appeal and my friend, Emma.

Emma had a rare condition called Churg-Strauss Syndrome which she fought against for 102 days in Great Ormond Street Hospital. Following a two cardiac arrests, a heart transplant and many infections she sadly passed away on Friday 30th May.

I was lucky enough to have known Emma from the age of 11 when we went to boarding school together and have spent almost 5 years in a dorm with her. We have many happy memories.

Please donate to this worthy cause. Every penny raised will go to support the vital work of the Rheumatology and Cardiology departments of GOSH who did everything possible to help Emma.

Many thanks, Lauren
