Story

Lloyds Banking Group SME Agriculture Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

Lloyds Banking Group Agriculture is a proud supporter of RABI and RSABI. Our employees have raised more than £30,000 to support their work in providing care and support for farmers, farm workers, farm managers and their dependents in times of financial need.

For 2015, we aim to increase this total by taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on May 19th.

The money raised will help and support the rural way of life:
- £150 buys a lifeline alarm to keep an elderly person safe in their own home.
- £2,500 pays for someone to train to bring in extra off-farm income.
- £5,000 pays for temporary farm labour while a farmer or family member recovers from illness.

About the charity

The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) is farming’s oldest charity working across England and Wales. Our aim is that no-one from the farming community should face adversity alone. We provide tailored advice, access to counselling, practical and financial support, and so much more.
