We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting our page.
The London Maggathon team are Dave (Maggie-Mae’s Daddy), Leah (Mummy), Ruth (Aunty), Naomi (Aunty) and Shelley (Friend).

We are novice runners with one aim: to fight childhood cancer & Leukaemia in Maggie-Mae’s name. This is going to be tough, but it’s nothing compared to the battle that Maggie-Mae had to face.

We are delighted to be supporting Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital’s pioneering research into childhood hard-to treat cancer and chemotherapy resistant Leukaemia through Maggie Mae’s Brighter Future Fund (https://www.justgiving.com/remember/559604/Maggie-Mae-Morgan). This fund has been set up in Maggie’s name and will go directly to GOSH’s pioneering research that really will save lives. Research didn’t have the answers in time to save our beautiful baby, who died at just 18months old after battling AML Leukaemia from birth, but together we can make sure this isn’t the case for babies fighting in the future. Together we really can save lives!

If you would like more information on our fundraising in Maggie-Mae’s name you can follow our story here https://www.facebook.com/MightyMaggieMae/
