Zaheer's Lebanon Emergency

Lebanon Emergency · 6 August 2020
135 people are estimated to have been killed by the blast and over 5,000 are estimated to be injured. As recovery efforts continue, these numbers are likely to go up and the scale of destruction will become more clear.
Whole neighbourhoods have been destroyed, with over 300,000 people suddenly made homeless. With nowhere to go, families face night after night on streets in the middle of a bomb site, among shattered glass and mountains of rubble, with no idea of where food or shelter is going to come from.
Human Appeal are on the ground assessing the need of the people and looking to deliver emergency aid including Food, Medical & Water.
