Story
Lee and Dannys uncle , Peter Goddard sadly passed away last year.
Over the last three years Peter worked tirelessly to raise money for the JRP a charity very close to him and last year he ran the big half.
On Peters behalf Lee and Danny are stepping upto the plate to run the 13.2 miles in the big half 2019 and hopefully do him proud in raising money for this incredibly good cause.
The Jericho Road Project was established in 2001 with the mission to eliminate rough sleeping in the Lewisham borough. The project has six low support houses with 27 residents who are supported in moving into independent accommodation, getting back into employment or volunteering in the community. The Project also runs The Feast, a weekly drop in meal for 100+ homeless and vulnerable people who have access to a hot three course hot meal, housing advice, free clothing and friendship. Jericho Road also runs two Christmas schemes: King's Christmas Trees - Selling 550+ high quality Nordmann Fir Christmas Trees across South East London. The profits fund a years worth of food at The Feast, around 4,500 meals. Big Red Box - Christmas food hampers, packed by the community and distributed through social services and local charities to some of the neediest families and individuals in the South East London communities. We distributed 2,226 Big Red Boxes in 2018!
