I've been lucky enough to secure a ballot entry for the prudential  ridelondon-Surrey 100 mile event on the 30th July! I didn't think I would be accepted in a million years, so am quite nervous and excited. I've been trying to think of a charity to raise money for for ages now and the penny has finally dropped. I wanted to raise money for cancer research, but also wanted it to be something close to home, something I'm involved with. Recently I've been working on the refurbishment of the NGH chemotherapy suite, and tonight after looking online I saw that they hadn't met their target in raising funds for the project. So I thought it would be ideal to try and raise some money to help them! I'm not good at asking people for sponsorship, but anything I raise I said better than nothing. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope my knees don't let me down haha :) x
