The Co-operative Bank's 50:50 challenge for Refuge! · 13 May 2022

The Co-operative Bank is proud to partner with Refuge for 7 years, the country's largest provider of specialist services for women and their children experiencing domestic abuse. To commemorate their 50th anniversary, we're hosting a 50:50 challenge!

Story

The Co-operative Bank is proud to continue supporting Refuge, our charity partner of seven years, helping women and children experiencing domestic abuse.

Domestic abuse is the biggest issue affecting women and children in our society today. It affects one in four women at some point in their lives and around 750,000 children every year. The Co-operative Bank is commemorating Refuge's 50th Anniversary with a fundraising target of £5,000 in May.

As a leadership team we will be completing a series of challenges across May, incorporating the number 50 & hoping to raise at least £50.
- Leanne White - 50 swimming lengths in under 50 minutes - Craig Davidson - 50 days with no biscuits & 50 flights of stairs a day over 5 days - Lisa Shields - 50k in 10 days at the gym
- Lee Ramsden - 50K cycling across 5 days - Roger Jones - 50 swimming lengths each day across 5 days
- Bethany Hardy - Baking and selling 50 cakes on the 19th May
- Saad Raja - 50,000 steps over 7 days
