Hello friends. In January, I started as the Chief Development Officer for
Volunteers of America Mid-States in Louisville. VOA provides many critical services here including the city's ONLY place where families facing homelessness can stay together as a family unit.

Homelessness anytime is a crisis, but put COVID-19, no schools open and job opportunities disappearing, then you have CRISIS on top of CRISIS.  And I am deeply concerned about kids in this crisis.

Today I am asking for critical, essential support to help children and families at our Unity House. Due to the closure of schools
and other services, we are providing more meals than ever. This cost is adding up to more than $6,000 per month for food alone!

Would you donate today to ensure we are providing shelter as well as healthy, warm meals and snacks for our children and families who depend on us more than ever? My goal is to raise enough money to support 5 days of meals in our shelter.  And, if you are a parent at home with your kiddos on quarantine, you can appreciate how quickly your food budget adds up!
