Dear Reader,

Cancer!   We all know someone affected by this terrible disease. They maybe a relative, friend or work colleague.  

On the 25th of August last year my younger sister Wendy aged just 45 past away after a two year battle with Cholangiocarcinoma - a rare form of cancer. The void left by my sisters death is immense. She leaves a Mum and Dad, two brothers, three children, many nephews and nieces a devoted husband and many, many friends and work colleagues.

Wendy won't be the last person to die from cancer, but somebody will. With continued funding for new research there will be a last person.

I have been awarded a place by Cancer Research to run in the worlds biggest race, The London Marathon and raise money.

I am hoping you can sponsor me and help Cancer Research. 

Hopefully others don't have to go through what my family is going through.
