This is my third tour. The last one was in 2009. I’m 14 years older and a lot slower this time around. Which is part of why this one is a BAHAG (big ass hairy audacious goal) for me - the other part is the 30,000+ feet of climbing that is part of the is year’s tour. Yes, that’s what I said 30,000+ feet of climbing over 5 days from Reno NV to Half Moon Bay CA. 

The reason I do it? Because I believe in the research and grant opportunities that the Tree Fund supports in arboriculture and urban forestry, I use the research the Tree Fund supports in my work and see the benefits of that research in the industry I work in. This is one of the most direct and meaningful ways I can give back to the industry that supports me. 

Will you support me in supporting the Tree Fund and all the important and vital work that is funded by the Tree Fund?  I know you lie the air you breathe - so, you must like trees and all the myriad of benefits they silently and unwaveringly provide to all of us. No trees, no fresh air!
