Story

Update April 4th 2022: donation matching by L&G has now ended.

Intense conflict in Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across the country, causing hundreds of thousands to flee. Homes have been destroyed or are unsafe to live in. Essential services have been hit. Families have been separated. People have been injured. Lives have been lost.

This devastation is unlikely to have escaped any of us and at Legal & General we want to do what we can to support the people of Ukraine.

We will match any donations our Legal & General colleagues make to DEC (up to £5,000 each) until the end of the day April 4th BST. Colleagues are welcome to continue donating after April 4, but those donations won't be matched.

The DEC is working to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.

Every pound donated by the UK public will also be matched by the UK Government up to £20 million.
