Lennox Children's Cancer Fund makes a positive difference to the lives of children fighting cancer. This is achieved through key projects, such as Respite Breaks and Care Grants, which support the whole family practically, financially and emotionally at a time when it is needed most.

Story

Our care services are crucial to the families we help but now the charity faces an uncertain future as we struggle to find desperately needed funding to keep it going.

We are appealing to you on behalf of all the children and families who really need your help.

We need to raise £100,000 now to ensure the charity can continue running so please, please give whatever you can by donating online through JustGiving.

For nearly 18 years The Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund has been supporting families with a child fighting cancer or leukaemia.

At present, the charity’s only source of income is through small events and donations from individuals and companies. Sadly, the recession has caused many of the companies that regularly support us to close down, and as a result our fundraising is at an all time low. The money coming into the charity has decreased by 30% in the last year, yet the outgoings have risen. This forced us to suspend the welfare grants programme in 2009 and in turn has left many of the families supported by the charity in financial crisis too.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We can raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs.

So please dig deep and donate now.
