#WishHeroes of the London Marathon 2024
Campaign by Make-A-Wish Foundation UK (RCN 295672 (England & Wales), SC037479 (Scotland))
An incredible group of #WishHeroes will be taking on the 2024 TCS London Marathon on the 21st April to grant life-changing wishes for children living with critical illnesses.

Story

I have joined the fight for Make-A Wish to grant life-changing wishes for critically ill children across the UK.

When I first started thinking of wanting to run the London Marathon I knew I wanted to run for a charity and to be honest it was a very easy decision for me to run for Make-A-Wish and I really want to thank them for allowing me this opportunity for such an important and worthy cause.

I like many others take for granted the chance to live healthy unrestricted lives, sadly thousands of children in the UK do not have that opportunity and Make-A-Wish offers families the opportunity to make a wish come true.

Running the TCS London Marathon 2024 with the knowledge that I am doing so for such a worthy cause and my training is fuelling my desire to do my utmost to help so many children and families.

Make-A-Wish® UK grant life-changing wishes for the thousands of critically ill children across the UK. Sadly, the number of wish enquiries from seriously ill children with less than a year to live is rising fast. They need help to meet this urgent demand now - before it’s too late. For families with critically ill children, every day counts. Your support has the power to make a wish come true for a critically ill child, allowing families to create lasting memories that they will treasure forever – no matter what the future holds.
