.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am not the fittest of people, and originally the tough guy challenge in January was a personal goal of mine to achieve for me only. Those that know me well, know that I am not a fan of charities with adverts and people stopping you in the street but this is different..........
I have had a change of heart and I have chosen Great Ormond Street Hospital as my chosen charity for 2013.
I am a great believer we should all be given a chance at life. It is important that our children grow strong in body and mind to achieve this, sometimes some children are less fortunate in this regard and require specialist help from Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital.
Having something more meaningful than just a personal achievement attached to this event, gives me the motivation to succeed. I would like to think that inside all of us is the desire to have an impact on somebodys life for the better. A small amount goes a long way.
If you are still unsure about donating a pound to this great cause, think of it like this....I have to run...I can't run... I have to swim....I can't swim, I'm going to be put in very cramped dark places, in ice cold water, jump from heights that would make arnie wince, climb the unclimable, be stood on because I am small, have to go through fire, be electrocuted and be cut to pieces, I will be a broken man, there is no doubt about it.
Thank you , Lee x
