Story
On the 9th of May 2017 my world fell apart when my mom was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. The prognosis was good, they can treat the cancer but they know it will return, something that as a family we have had to learn to accept. October marks the last round of chemo and despite a terrible 6 month battle, my mom has never took the smile from her face. I always knew, like most, that my mom is a superwoman, but her strength and positivity through all of this has been astonishing. She has never complained, she has stood up and fought and she is living life for the moment. I hope that in the next 31 days I can take on that ethos, never giving up and never complaining. Every day during October I will complete at least 31 minutes of exercise. Your donations will support the Lymphoma Association to support other families fighting the same battle and living with the same struggles day in and day out.
Thank you in advance,
Libby
