Story
After a few years recovering from the London Marathon, Lindsay and Amy have decided it's time to undertake another fundraising event. This time they will walk 100km of the Cotswold Way and at the same time raise money and awareness for Parkinson's UK.
You can read more about the event online at http://www.cotswoldwaychallenge.com/ but it takes place over the weekend 1st - 2nd July, starting in Bath, Somerset and finishing in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. We will walk 100km along The Cotswold Way with a 2220 metres ascent, a great challenge!
In 2015, Lindsay's dad Alasdair Buchanan was diagnosed with Parkinson's. It's thought around 1 in 500 people are affected by Parkinson's disease, which means there are an estimated 127,000 people in the UK with the condition.
Parkinson's UK is a charity which drives better care, treatments and quality of life. We are very proud to be supporting this fantastic charity who want to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's.
