Story
Thank you for visiting this page.
I met Sophie when we were 3 years old and have been lucky enough to call her one of my best friends ever since. Sophie was a kind and caring friend, a dedicated daughter, a supportive sister and a loyal and loving partner to her boyfriend Jamie. She never failed to make those around her smile and laugh and always put others before herself. I have no doubt that those of you that were lucky enough to know Sophie, will agree that she was and will continue to be an inspiration.
In 2016, Sophie was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Clear-Cell Sarcoma. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. Despite this knowledge from early on, Sophie remained incredibly strong throughout her journey and continued to amaze us all with her courage and positivity. In the early hours of Friday 6th December 2019, after 3 and a half years of fighting, Sophie sadly lost her battle and our lives have never been the same since. She is so sorely missed by all her friends and family and now feels the right time to do something in her honour to raise awareness Sophie's story, about Sarcoma and raise some money to fund vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaign for better treatments and earlier diagnoses which can ultimately save lives.
Please show your support and help me raise some money and awareness of Sarcoma in memory of Sophie. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is much appreciated!
Thank you all for your support.
