Event: Cumbrian Challenge 2017, on 13 May 2017
The Cumbrian Challenge is Walking With The Wounded’s flagship annual event in the Lake District for teams of four – with every team taking part supporting a veteran back into work and independence.

Story

In 2012 my teams and I joined hundreds of other people on the very first Cumbrian Challenge. Since then we have 'got the bug' and have raised thousands of £s for Walking with the Wounded, taking part in the event every year since.

Walking With The Wounded supports veterans with physical, mental or social injuries back into independence and employment. Supporting the Walk has made a difference to the most vulnerable ex servicemen and women and every penny we have raised has been charity matched by my employer Callcredit Information Group. They have supported the teams throughout.

So this year again we take to the beautiful hills of Cumbria  with 3 teams. 24km, 3 peaks and 1500m of ascent. It's Tough!!

You can Support my Walk by sponsoring me and help make a difference to injured service men. Thank you for your support.
