Story

The Cumbrian Challenge is back for its fifth year on Saturday 13 May 2016.

Is your team of four up for competing against our inspirational wounded servicemen and women on our breath-taking Tough’ (23km) or ’Tougher’ (29km) routes through the stunning peaks of the Lake District - or an entry-level 'Peak' route (16km) which will get you up your first peak. Every team that signs up can support a wounded veteran back into long-term independence and employment, with each team tasked with fundraising £1,000 (£250 each).

Join us in Grasmere on Friday 12 May for a pre-race feed the night before, an unforgettable and testing event, and then a celebratory post-race feast and prize giving and inspiring words from the WWTW team on Saturday evening.
