Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year you will remember the sad news that PC Hughes and Bone from Greater Manchester Police lost their lifes after responding to what seemed a routine call. The news was heart breaking.
Having been an officer for nearly nine years we all know that many routine calls are never quite that, but thankfully we are able to return home to loved ones at the end of a shift.
PC Hughes's father has set up a charity in memory of Nicola and has asked for all officers up and down the country to support him in this cause.
The challenge is to run 250miles in 125 days. This is about two miles a day or 9 1/2 marathons over a four month period.
Anyone who knows me, will know I was not built to run and have many times been called Phoebe from friends when I have attempted to run and usually ends with me getting an injury.
However I am doing this challenge with a group of 41 others from Northants Police and over 1600 officers countrywide.
So whilst you are all warm at home this winter with the heating on and snuggled in front of the tv, please spare a thought for us having to run whatever the weather.
Please show your support for this good cause and donate to us.
Thank you xx
