As you know, we lost our beautiful Josh to cancer in September 2017 aged just 12 years old.   Since losing Josh we have been raising money for the various wonderful charities that supported us during this most awful time. 

From the day we arrived in UCL Hospital for the start of Josh's treatment, Clic Sargent were there for us.  Our minds were in turmoil and we simply couldn't think straight. They took care of the practical things that we simply weren't capable of.  They applied for a disabled parking permit and carers allowance, they provided us with accommodation so that we could all be together at key times during his treatment and also  fund the community nurses that helped Josh with pain relief when we were at home.  We wouldn't have coped without their help.

To say thank you and to assist them in helping other families faced with the enormity of childhood cancer, I will be running the Virtual London Marathon on 4th October 20. I will be dragging this poor knackered body around 26.2 miles along a route of my choosing rather than in London. This is due to the London event now only being open to elite runners. They didn’t put me in that category which I find very surprising!!😉

The last time I did it was 20 years ago - I must be mad!!
