Each year over 1,000,000 babies are born worldwide with a congenital heart defect. 100,000 of them will not live to see their first birthday and thousands more die before they reach adulthood.  

We want to raise and reach the small goal of £3,000 to put towards the Little Hearts Project. The money donated will be used to fund the heart surgeries and also the acquisition of necessary medical equipment to save the life of atleast one child affected by the disease. 

The Little Hearts project provides free life-saving cardiac surgery and interventional cardiac catheterisation for children with Congenital Heart Defects from underprivileged families irrespective of gender, race or religion.

It is said in the Qur'an, "Those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah, and do not follow it up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury, their reward is with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve"

[Al-Baqarah 2:261-262]
