Luna’s Legacy
Our daughter Luna Ivy Paulina Cook was born 20th January 2019. After birth Luna was diagnosed with Edwards Syndrome, also known as Trisomy 18.
She passed away a short 12 hours later.
95% of babies diagnosed with Edwards Syndrome do not survive the womb. Luna was so incredibly strong to push through until full term. She wanted to meet her family just as much as we wanted to meet her.
The charity Children are Butterflies provided the up most care and respect for Luna whilst at the funeral home. They funded all expenses for her funreal and made a memory box including items we will treasure forever.
We would like to give back to Children are Butterflies who have supported us through the worst time of our lives.
