Story

Hi Everyone... So because I'd be useless at running marathons, I've decided to put my Mary Berry efforts to good use and throw on a pinny to pull an all nighter by baking as many cakes as I can by 5am before going straight to my breakfast radio show on Minster FM in Yorkshire. I'm praying these cakes turn out okay and then the lovely people of North Yorkshire could help by popping along to the studio to donate & grab a cake whilst I'm live on air from 7-10am and then come and see me from 11am til 1pm at the Shambles Market in York town centre on Thursday 14th June.

If you aren't local enough to come along to the Minster FM studio to see me, you can still support by donating on here. Please do leave a little message on the justgiving page if you'd like to dedicate your donation to someone.

I want to highlight and help in some small way with the devastating effect that Alzheimer's and Dementia have on those affected by the illness. I have sadly seen the first hand deterioration which occurs as the days turn into weeks. I am dedicating this effort to my boyfriend's father who is bravely dealing with the condition and I'm also thinking of Barbara Windsor who continues to radiate warmth and charisma. To raise funds for charities like Alzheimer's Society, we can help support the families and friends of those who are dealing with this invisible yet destructive disease and create a strength for those facing challenging times.

Every little helps,

Thank you,

Roxy x
