We are all members of the eye unit, working to treat people with sight threatening eye conditions. During the last year we lost two members of staff and we are running in their memory to raise money to support the work of the eye unit which they were so passionate about. I personally love to run and have taken part in past Southampton Marathons but in July this year I had laparoscopic surgery so this is a huge challenge for me as I have not been able to exercise until August.
