One of my dear colleagues  & friend’s husband was diagnosed with oral cancer 3 years ago. Sadly his cancer has progressed and is currently receiving palliative chemotherapy. They are a beautiful family full of love, strength, hope & determination. 

As her close friend and colleague I want to support her as much as I can. Training and taking part in this half marathon is my way of doing this and showing my friend how much I care and raise some money for a charity at the same time. 

Two of my lovely friends have jumped on the bandwagon too to support the cause so; Hayley, Paul and I will run with my friend & her family in mind on Sunday the 5th of September 🙌
