Story
I've meant to start the 5x50 challenge take two for a while and was pushed into action by a recent message from Runkeeper saying they missed me! Oops! We have made it to day three and despite a complete soaking last night are feeling positive about the challenge :)
As last time I will be running or walking 5km every day for 50 days to help raise money for Rett Syndrome Research Trust UK. Rett syndrome is a disorder which affects previously healthy little girls just after they have learned to walk and say a few words and drags their development backwards. Girls lose acquired skills, normal movement and language. Reversal experiments in 2007 found that the condition could become the first curable brain disorder, and RSRT UK are focused on speeding treatments and cures.
We know from last time what a commitment the challenge is and would be grateful for any donations to keep us motivated and raise as much money as possible for this brilliant charity.
