London Landmarks Half Marathon 2022 · 3 April 2022 ·

Take part in this unique event across closed roads through the City of London and the City of Westminster, passing by some of the capital's most iconic landmarks - all whilst raising money for our Mecklenburgh Fund to assist fellow Members in need.

Story

I want to ensure that the Goodenough College experience is truly open to all, including those who may face financial challenges in achieving their ambition of postgraduate study. This cause is particularly close to my heart because without the financial support of Goodenough College my partner and I would not have been able to pursue our dream of undertaking postgraduate studies in London. To add to this the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the landscape for further study and, there are even more Members struggling to make ends meet we are determined to maintain and expand our emergency financial assistance programme, the Mecklenburgh Fund. For many of our Members, financial challenges can occur unexpectedly and that is why the Mecklenburgh Fund is so important; it entirely removes significant burdens, pressures or stresses that may otherwise take Members away from focusing on their studies and enjoyment of all that Goodenough has to offer. It enables the College to support Members as much as we can during their time with us and extends our pastoral care package; something ever more important in these challenging times.
