RBC Ride for the Kids 2020
Campaign by SportsAid (RCN 1111612)
RBC staff, clients and SportsAid guests will be putting themselves through their paces and cycling one of three distances to raise money for the next generation of British sporting stars.

Story

6 of us in London Corporate Banking are cycling the Surrey hills in a bubble of 6 for RBC Ride for the Kids on Friday 25 September to raise money for the charity, SportsAid.

The Ride for the Kids event, which is the highlight of this years SportsAid Week can’t go ahead as planned due to the COVID restrictions so we are riding the distance in our bubble to raise money for SportsAid. The team will match donation from others up to £300 per rider and RBC will then match that combined amount meaning each £10 donation results in £40 plus gift aid. Please help us get to the £5000 target to support this cause.

The charities big campaign week, and all miles covered will contribute to the charitys #MyMilesChallenge.SportsAid provide financial support, recognition and personal development opportunities to the next generation of British athletes during the early stages of their career. All of the money raised from this event will go towards funding a series of athlete and parent workshops for SportsAid athletes. These workshops will support athletes with media training, nutrition advice and mentoring to ensure that they can be the best athlete they can be.Since 2014, RBC has supported 50 up-and-coming, young athletes each year with a SportsAid award.
