Story

Hello everyone!

I'm taking on the challenge of running the Great North Run on Sunday 12th September to support the Brain Tumor Charity with my cousin Alfie, my uncle Chris, my uncle Iain and my sister Helena.

Alfie, Chris, Iain, Helena and I are coming together from across the UK to run the Great North Run in Newcastle. We are Ewan's Team: we'll be running 13.1 miles for my cousin Ewan, who has been living with a brain tumor and brain cancer for around a decade. Ewan has had three operations, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, so it really matters to him and to us to know that work is being done to improve these treatments for future patients.

As is the case with so many charities, the Brain Tumor Charity has lost a lot of funding during the pandemic, and is in desperate need of financial support. Myself, Alfie, Iain and Chris have the goal of raising £2000 to support this fantastic cause. We're each trying to raise £400, and would be very grateful for any help you could give to us in reaching this target.

Thank you so much for visiting my page - any donations, whatever the size, are greatly appreciated! I can't wait to run the half marathon next month as a part of Ewan's Team.

p.s. My sister Helena's page is linked below - she's fundraising for both the Brain Tumor Charity and Save the Children, so needs extra support!
