We are doing a tandem parachute jump on Saturday 6th May 2017 in Banbury at Hinton Sky Diving Centre to raise awareness of Phelan McDermid syndrome. Phelan McDermid syndrome is a rare genetic disorder with approximately only 1500 cases worldwide . We are raising money for PMSF UK as we have a very special little boy in our lives that has the syndrome. His name is Harrison Sherwood. Harrison is non verbal and has no communication skills, he has a severe developmental delay and is functioning at 8-12 months although he is now 4 and half. He also has low muscle tone and is visually impaired. Despite all these factors he is a joy to be around and we are proud that he is part of our lives. He is full of energy and loves to be on his feet running around, he has such a cheeky character and a charming personality. His smile and laugh is so infectious and brightens any day. He also gives the best cuddles. He has great parents who support him with everything if it wasn't for them and his family and friends he wouldn't be the confident, happy, determined little boy he is who we are all very proud of. I hope you can support us in this adventure and donate towards this great cause. We have chose to raise  a target of £1500 as this is approximately how many cases there are worldwide.  We are paying for the skydive out of our own personal money, so 100% of the money raised will be going to the charity.
