Story
On Saturday 17th March 2018 I will be abseiling from the top of the i360 observation tower on Brighton beach, from a height of 450ft.
The i360 is the world's tallest moving observation tower offering 360 degree views of Brighton from 138meters or 450ft.
This charity abseil will be raising funds for the Trevor Mann Baby unit (TMBU), to provide the neonatal unit in Brighton with a specialist X Ray Imaging Machine. TMBU has become one of the foremost centers for treating premature and sick newborn babies. My amazing niece was born prematurely and spent her first 2 weeks in this unit. The excellent care she received and the support they provided to my family was second to none, and means The Rockinghorse Appeal will always be a cause close to my heart.
To put this challenge into perspective, I have never abseiled before and similar heights would be:
The Statue of Liberty 310ft.
Big Ben 320ft.
St Paul's Cathedral 365ft.
The Spire in Dublin 398ft.
The London Eye 443 ft.
********The i360 450ft.********
Any support you can offer is massively appreciated as this really is a very worthy cause.
Thanks and I will see you all when I reach the bottom of the i360 :-)
