Hi, thanks for visiting my team page (its only little old me!)

I haven't done a charity challenge for a while and this seems to the right time because of everything that is happening in the world.

So at the beginning of September I will be swimming during my training sessions, the equivalent to the distance of the English Channel. This is 21 miles/ 33796.2 metres which equals 1352 lengths (in a 25m pool).

I have had a couple of family members and close friends affected by Cancer. The COVID-19 pandemic has particularly affected one of those closest to me in terms of delay of treatment and uncertainty of the diagnosis which has been worrying and still going on. I'd like to fundraise £250 for the charity to help them continue their wonderful research and support for those affected.

Everyone has suffered during lockdown and this may last in to the future but I would like to help this charity get back to what they do best. Helping find cures and treatment for those who are living with cancer.

Anything you give can help, and if you can't give at this unusual time please help me raise awareness for the work both these charities do and who they effect!
