Everyone knows that I love nothing more than a wine,prosecco, gin or even now my new love for Coronas. As well as good incentive to loose weight for my wedding I thought why not raise money for a charity that I feel influences SO many peoples Mental Health, working as a nurse within the Acute Medical unit I did not realise how many people suffer from alcohol dependence and how common it is for whatever reason they have were not there to judge but only support. 

I'm taking part in the official Dry January and raising money for Alcohol Change UK because alcohol does too much harm here in the UK. You might have noticed some of that harm; do you know someone who drinks too much? How does that affect their lives, and the lives of the people they love? Or maybe you havent thought about it all that much but still, alcohol harm is all around us. It affects the 200,000 children living with alcohol-dependent parents in England; the 1.2 million people admitted to hospital because of alcohol last year; the person dying every hour.
