On Friday 23rd September I'm holding a meet up and bake off at my house to Power down and meet up for mito. No mobiles, no tablets, no computers allowed but I will have the kettle on!

I am doing this to raise money for the Lily Foundation and awareness of mitochondrial disease and in memory of my little boy Aidan who died in 2014 aged 19 months. The Lily Foundation supported my family during Aidan's diagnosis, illness and his death. They fund the mitochondrial lab at Newcastle University who helped diagnose Aidan and also determine whether our unborn child had the disease which fortunately she does not.
