I’m fundraising because no child should go to bed thirsty.

I'm taking part in The Walk (60 miles, over the month of September) so that Tearfund can help families struggling because of drought exacerbated by climate change. Every £240 I raise has the potential to provide 20 families like Orbisa's with access to a life-saving water source. Please sponsor my walk to help provide for families suffering without enough water.

In Afar, north-east Ethiopia, Orbisa used to collect water from the nearby river, but it has dried up. She now has to walk up to ten hours each day to collect water for her family. But they often get by with less than half the water they need.
