At the end of June this year we said good bye to our  beloved German Shepard alfie. He was eight years old, full of enthusiasm and energy. if you met him yourself you would be forced to play ball or suffer the slobbery Consequences! 

Alfie took a turn for the worse around six weeks  prior to this and over night deteriorated very quickly. Within a few hours the decision had to be made to ether throw in the towel or operate. We decided to go on with the operation which consisted of removing a  tumour infested spleen. 

Within 24 hours Alfie was back to his normal self happy and  mischievous as ever. We then had an amazing 5 weeks with him as if nothing was ever wrong! But then unfortunately on the 26th of June we woke to meet Alfie very uncomfortable and confused as to what was going on. He was suffering from internal bleeding and by this point it was already to late to operate again. The vet pointed out the first time around that there could be more tumours that the scans have missed and therefore could rupture at any point. 

We were very lucky to catch it in time to give him another few weeks of being back to his happy self!

With these donations I’m hoping to raise enough money to give a few more animals the longer healthy life’s they deserve! 

In exchange for your donation, I’m going to be taking part In a gruelling week and a half of cycling from Somerset to Perth Scotland! Then competing in a 50km Spartan race consisting of 60 obstacles. To put that in to perspective a very quick time for this race would be 7hours so it will finish off the 500 plus mile cycle nicely.

Any donation is going to be massively appreciated this it the biggest thing I can think of to get people to donate so I hope it’s worth it!
