I'm raising money for Jen's Special Place by completing a firewalk on the 28th of January 2023 at the old farmhouse in scunthorpe. Everyone is welcome to join doors open at 4.30pm, and the firewalk will be around 6.30. Spectators are £2 each with children having free entry into the wacky warehouse. In 2009 when Jemma's sister,, Jen died, it was a huge struggle to find any support in Scunthorpe for Jen's children, highlighting the huge gap for bereaved services locally. Through this experience and through a passion to change this, Jen's Special Place aims to bridge that gap and has provided support to bereaved families in the form of social groups and events since 2014.
