Story
Another year, another silly idea!
Following on from my half marathon run in 2009 (which I swore I'd never even dream of repeating again...) the City of Liverpool has decided to reinstate the full marathon in 2011 for the first time in over 20 years.
Now I know I said I'd never even contemplate doing another half marathon again, never mind a full marathon but I got carried away earlier this year and started saying to friends and family that I'd like to enter.
Not one to go back on my word or disappoint (or more likely lose face with those I'd shot my mouth off to!!) I've found myself at the point of no return, now trying to get your support to spur me on via Just Giving! Training so far has been of mixed success but I've got another 8 weeks until the event to fine tune my already aching legs!
I'm running again for the Imagine Appeal at Liverpool's Alder Hey Hospital where they rely heavily on charitable support from idiots like myself. Alder Hey is the busiest Children's hospital in Europe and I am sure that any money raised will make a huge difference to the tens of thousands of children treated there every year.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
