Story
We are the children and families of Yr1 Thornhill Primary - Moon and Venus.
Luna for Moon, Dawn for the morning star that Venus is; the two brightest objects in the night sky.
We are Luna Dawn, and most of us are 6 years old.
We are running for the Thornhill Foundation to raise money and awareness to the amazing Friday afternoon enrichment programme at Thornhill school.
Through Enrichment Fridays - we have been able to learn and experience wide range of activities that broaden, enhance and deepen our understanding of our world.
Since the easing of lock down, Enrichment Fridays has enabled Y1 to
- learn Judo
- learn to play Lacross
- 3D Art
- Team building Lego
- visit Crumbles Castle adventure playgound, a nature-filled wonderland with hidden swings and secret places to climb and explore the world of their imaginations.
- visit Freightliners City Farm, a city farm a 2.5 acres green space in the very urban London Borough of Islington. It is a small community farm where a diverse range of people take part in farming and gardening and people can visit and spend time in a countryside type environment in the city
