I'm rising up in partnership with Emerald Youth to help provide critical extracurricular academic supports so that youth in the heart of Knoxville are equipped to pursue God's calling on their life through postsecondary education or training. I became involved with Emerald Youth a few years ago through the Calling and Career program. My husband, Jonathan, and I are mentors to a student navigating the transition to college life. Being involved in the mentor program has given us the opportunity to see all of the ways that Emerald Youth walks alongside students trying to determine their unique callings in life.
